OT - emergency run to Monterey tomorrow . . .

Seems my DIL has a blood clot going to her lungs . . . and her medication is down in this pharmacy . . . they don't have their new insurance cards yet . . . and because she was on state aid, they can't transfer the perscription out of San Diego county . . . so . . .as soon as the pharmacy opens in the morning, my daughter and I are outta here - headed north . . . to deliver meds and a car full of big plastic kids toys and bikes . . . and then coming back on Monday so I can fly out Tuesday to Seattle . . .

Everyone have a safe holiday . . . and I probably won't be on much if at all before I leave on Tuesday . . . thanks for all your great well wishes for my walk . . . I now have to go pack for that before we leave in the morning . . . don't wanna forget anything!

Hey Chris - I am keeping your daughter in my prayers....that is not something to take lightly.  I had a blood clot in 2002 that did travel to my lungs - I ended up with "massive bilateral pulmonary embolism" and was in the hospital for a week.  But I am alive and well and able to talk about it.....but it was definitely scary.  Please drive careful and have a great trip - please keep us posted on your DIL.....

I echo the words of all before me.  Please keep us posted.  Did you ever think of sending everything up Fedex or something over night?  Please be safe and Monterey is so beautiful.  God spent a little extra time when creating that place.
